Will This Iconic Halloween Store Take Over Chicago’s Empty Soldier Field?
This is the best meme I've seen in a long time.
If you're not from Illinois, and you haven't heard the recent Soldier Field news you might be a little confused. If you missed it, the Chicago Bears just signed an agreement to buy Arlington Park for $197.2 million.
That means they would transition from playing home games at Soldier Field in Chicago to whatever they build at Arlington Park in the future. AKA no more of this awesomeness -
I really don't have a huge opinion on the move. I just know it would be funny to see traffic coming out of the city for a Bears game instead of going into the city.
So what would Soldier Field become if the Bears move to Arlington Heights? Well, of course, it will still be used for various sporting events as well as concerts and shows.
But one Twitter user had the best suggestion ever. Not only is it the best, but it's also the perfect time of year for this possible new tenant.
Do you know when a store front goes vacant around the time of year? What usually pops up?
You guessed it - Spirit Halloween!
I mean, let's be honest, Spirit Halloween definitely isn't moving into Soldier Field this Halloween season, but if they could, you know they would.
