If I asked you to, 'quick! name a burger restaurant in the Stateline!' Lucy's #7 Burger Bar will probably be your answer.

But, I asked you to tell me what they have on their 'starters,' menu, you might not be as familiar.

I love a good appetizer, but when you're going to Beloit to stop by Lucy's for a burger, sometimes you just want to get straight to the point.

However, I would advise you to check out the starters portion of the menu next time you're there, and make some room at your table for the 'Snap, Crackle, Pig.'

Pork rinds at a restaurant? I thought the same thing, but then I ate one...two... three... twelve of them and I'm sold.

Lucy's 'Snap, Crackle, Pig,' is described on the menu as 'Cracklin' pork rinds seasoned with BBQ & drizzled with smokin' hot honey.'

Seriously I don't know why they're so good, but I can tell you, they are in fact so good.

Now that I'm looking at the whole starters menu, it all looks good, I'm not here for pickles of any sort, but the Chippy Dippy, Loaded Cheese Fries and Cheese Curds probably belong on your table too.
