Illinois Ranked ‘Most Normal’ State In The Country
Wait, this is crazy. Illinois was ranked the "most normal" state in the country.

When you think of a normal state, what would you factor in? I'd like to think we're ranking based on the amount of entertainment, nightlife, selection of grocery stores, and diversity of people, like ratio of adults to children.
Apparently, Illinois lead the polls when it came to living situations, income levels, race, and religion. This is pretty cool considering there are so many other places that could've made it to #1. States like California probably didn't make it high on the list because of the cost of living is outrageous in majority of the state. Same goes for New York!

Illinois has Chicago. It's the third-largest city in the country and it's known for its vibrant culture, rich diversity, and represents so many backgrounds.

If we're looking at "normal" from a social media standpoint, I'd say we're pretty normal! Why? Because Illinois residents don't tend to follow trends online as much as other states. You don't really see people filming in public or trying to get content for their socials like influencers do in California, New York, and Florida.
Politics, religion, and financial situations aside, I think we can all agree we do have our quirks, and are far from normal. The roadside attractions we have throughout the Prairie State, the road ragers, and being an all-seasons state truly make us stand out from the rest of the country.
