Wisconsin's Best Burger is a Cheese Curd Lover's Dream Come True

If you live in the Rockford area there's a very good chance you have already found a place that you think makes the best cheese curds.

Whether it be a local restaurant or one of your favorite fast food establishments, there's no shortage of the delicious and kind of squeaky fried cheese app.

While I'm a fan of cheese curds, I've never considered topping my burger with them.

Thankfully, there's a place not far from Rockford that does that for you. It's called the Milwaukee Burger Company, and according to Mashed, they make the best burger in Wisconsin.

If you've been to Milwaukee Burger Company you already know that their signature food is the lovely cheese curd.

They manage to incorporate those delicious treats into their burgers which apparently are pretty dang good too.

The Cheese Curd Cheeseburger from the Milwaukee Burger Company is the cheese-powered burger the cheese state deserves. You might have some trouble keeping all the cheese within this burger while you eat it, but your taste buds will agree that it's definitely worth the hassle.

The Cheese Curd Burger isn't the only curd topped burger on the menu at Milwaukee Burger Company.

Looking at their menu, you'll notice the On Mozzconsin Burger topped with "Giant Mozzarella Curds" and something called the Defibrillator which is a double cheeseburger with curds and chicken-fried bacon piled on top. Milwaukee Burger Company calls that burger "not for the faint of heart."

Rating three out of five on Yelp, Nate S. says "I had to go with the cheese curd cheeseburger. They are not kidding when they say their curds are the size of golf balls."

However, Justin K. thinks "the beef patty needed more flavor" and the service was "below average."

Milwaukee Burger Company is located at 6421 South 27th Street in Franklin about 90 minutes from Rockford.

They also have locations in La Crosse, Appleton, Pleasant Prairie, Eau Claire, Wausau, and Hudson.
