Woman Gives Birth in Car; Husband Captures it on Film [VIDEO]

While on her way to the birthing center, a woman gave birth to a 10-pound baby in the car and her husband caught the whole thing on film.

It's hard enough giving birth in a hospital, can you imagine if you had to give birth in the middle of Houston traffic; in your own car?

It might be difficult for some to watch but this is a fascinating video, showing the entire birth, the labor pains, the water breaking and then mom delivers the baby herself; in the passenger seat.

Amazing, isn't it? And maybe a little unfair. I was in labor for 21 hours and pushed for 2.5 hours.  This mom handled this delivery like a boss; she was so calm and cool. To her credit, this is the couples third baby so it's not their first rodeo; but still.

I'm happy that dad, mom and baby all appear to be OK. It probably wasn't the best idea for the dad to be filming while he was driving but that's life; the miracle of life.  They ended up naming him Josiah and they were able to make it to the birthing center where they received additional medical care for both mom and baby.
