When will people ever learn that you should never let your emotions get the best of you on social media?

It's so hard to have sympathy for anyone who loses a job because of something stupid they posted on their Facebook or Twitter news feed; especially if it what they said is about their job. I can, however, empathize. We've all been there, whether it's an annoying co-worker , a horrible boss or a crazy customer; but I think we've all quickly learned from others people's social media blunders that comments about those things are best to kept to ourselves.

Unfortunately for 27-year-old, single mom, Kaitlyn Walls, she didn't get the memo that you don't vent about your job or a potential employer on social media.

Walls just landed a job at a daycare center and she was fired before she even walked through the doors for her first day of work - for posting about how much she hates working with children on her Facebook page. She said, "I start my new job today, but I absolutely hate working at day care." The daycare caught wind of her comments and told her to not bother coming in.

Sadly, Walls really needed this job. She's a single mom who's trying to get out on her own and now she feels like a failure; having to comfort her crying daughter who's sad that she might not be able to get a job. To add insult to injury, Walls got slammed on social media by not just her own Facebook friends, but her post made it's way to a yard sale group; where strangers hurled insult after insult.

Walls later stated on her Facebook page that she made a big mistake and hopefully she learned an important lesson; one that we can all learn from- just because Facebook is free, it doesn't mean you won't pay a price for the stupid stuff you put on there.
