Here are the places around the Rockford area we love to grab food from but can't stand the experience of using their drive-thru.

A recent trip through a new Starbucks drive-thru in Loves Park took some rubber off my tire. Maybe you've had a similar experience. I hate when they build the drive-thru lane with narrow curbs. The curbs at the Starbucks location on Riverside Boulevard in Loves Park have so many tire scuff marks that it looks like the curb was painted black.

The drive-thru at the new Tom & Jerry's location just a few doors west is also very narrow and I know sooner or later, I'm going to roll up on top of one of those curbs.

On the show, I asked, You love their food but hate their drive-thru, what's the place?

It's so frustrating trying to get some food you've been thinking about all day but it means you have to use an aggravating drive-thru. From concrete barriers making it difficult to drive through without scuffing a tire, or a rim, to things that don't work properly, to why the crew at some of these places just can't seem to get it together.

Getting into this drive-thru is the easy part, getting out is near impossible. Nobody will let you onto State St., and the other exit is onto a one-way street.

WOW! Would You Pay $200 for a Steak Dinner at This Illinois Restaurant?

I drove my first SUV through this place and almost wanted to back out before I damaged my new ride. I got through it and have never been back to that location. Then they updated the drive-thru at the Riverside Blvd location with some narrow curbs but not that big concrete wall at least.

Here comes the real prize winner. No place was mentioned as often as this next one.
