As if the 2019 winter season hasn't been bad enough, looks like we get to throw some  sickness into the misery soon.

The Center for Disease Control is saying the worst of the flu season hasn't hit yet, and it is likely coming in the next few weeks.

Grrrrreaaaaat.

There is a silver lining to this doom and gloom news though, if you got the flu shot this year, you should be cool. Doctors and the CDC are saying the flu shot has been very effective combating the flu this year, and it's not too late to get one, but you must do it ASAP. It takes about two weeks for the flu shot to be fully effective, so time is of the essence.

Getting a flu shot is the best preventative measure you can take to avoid getting sick, but frequent hand washing and containing germs are the next two most important things to do.

Go stock up on tissues and antibacterial soaps now, and for the love of God, if you get sick STAY HOME! You aren't doing friends, family or co-workers one darn bit of good trying to suffer through the sickness in public. Same goes for your kids; if they're sick, keep them home. Please do your part to stop the sickness, instead of helping it spread like wildfire. Thank you.
