Banana Republic is selling a set of safety pin earrings for the low, low price of $40.

Don't get me wrong, I understand the punk culture aspect of the safety pin earrings. Difference is, punks who wore those back in the day rocked real safety pins and they most certainly didn't cost $40.

Unless you bought a lifetime supply of safety pins which is neither punk or economical.

Truth be told though, the Banana Republic safety pin earrings must be really popular. I have a whole box of knock-offs sitting in my garage.
