Ziplining in the middle of winter, in Chicago? I know what you're thinking and before you say what I think you're going to say, I want you to close your eyes for a second and picture this:

You and your special someone head to Chicago for a romantic weekend, which is already expensive as it is, but you have something amazing planned and the best part is that it's FREE. I know it's cold but imagine being all bundled up, cuddling up close as you wait in line for your turn; you ask him to go first because you've never been ziplining before and you're scared. If he goes first, then you know it's safe; not to mention, as your flying across Millenium Park; taking in all the sights, you know he's waiting for you at the bottom with open arms. You get a big hug for being so brave and you toast each other with a hot chocolate.

That could be you when you experience the "Escape Cold. Warm Your Heart" campaign at Millennium Park this weekend. For three days, Experience Kissimmee is bringing some warmth from Florida with a 200 foot zipline for those who want to fly across the park and experience the city skyline in a whole new way.

You'll be able to zip from the top of a three-story platform to a warm ‘Toasting Tent’ below. They'll have hot chocolate, sweet treats; you can register to win prizes, vacations and stock up on winter weather gear.

The ‘Freezin’ Gator Zip’ will be located at the North Chase Promenade of Millennium Park (201 East Randolph Street). The Experience Kissimmee station will be operational from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday through Monday.
