In the 1920's Aquin Catholic high school started a unique prom tradition. And to this day, that tradition still makes sure all students get to attend the prom.

According to the story published at wifr.com, in the late 1920's is when the Aquin Prom Draw began. All Junior and Senior boys would gather to draw girls' names from a hat. The drawing was held with all the boys in one room and all the girls would be in the gym. Before the boys could leave to invite the girl who's name was on the ice of paper, they would have to come up with some creative way to ask her to prom. With how elaborate 'prom-posals' have become over the years, you can only imagine how creative these young men are these days.
