I've probably baked a million cookies in my life and I have made more mistakes than I care to admit.

Plenty of my cookie batches have ended up in the garbage, or turned into crumbly ice cream topping. I think one time I messed up cookies and filled the middle of a cake with them because I didn't know what else to do.

It happens. We all live, but luckily we learn, too. I have learned a lot about making cookies and hopefully these tips can help you when you're making drop cookies, chocolate chip or otherwise, this holiday season.
