39 Rockford Kids Who Don’t Care that 2016 is a Total Train Wreck

I don't know about you, but 2016 has been a pretty tough year; between my divorce, losing my house, having my identity stolen and my son moving 5 hours away, I'm ready to head into 2017 with a new outlook.

I'm sure the rest of you would like to as well, and it's not just about the personal things affecting our own lives; in 2016 we saw unforgettable and untimely celebrity deaths, police brutality, mass shootings and of course, the election. It's been a hot mess.

If we could, we'd like to forget any of it even happened, but for most of us that's just not possible. What I do wish was possible was to be able to travel back in time, to when we were kids and didn't have a care in the world.

Most of our kids know about what's going on in the world around them, but they don't have a complete understanding. Wouldn't it be nice to be that naive again?
