For the most part, we dread Mondays. Mondays mean having to set your alarm again, having to deal with traffic and your co-workers. I can't do anything about those elements, but I do have a few ways to make your Monday a little bit better.

Ditch the comfy clothes.

You might think wearing your most casual work clothes on Monday will help you ease back into the week. It's exactly the opposite. Turns out dressing up on Mondays will put you more into the "I want to work" mode instead of the "I wish I were still sleeping mode."

Bring (or buy) something fun for lunch.

Maybe you, like me, eat the exact same thing for lunch every day. Spice things up on Monday, or make plans to go to lunch with a friend. You'll be looking forward to it all morning.

Re-schedule Monday Meetings

Do you have a bunch of meetings scheduled for Mondays because you think that will make the week more productive? It might be a good idea to move those to Tuesday. Instead, use Monday to organize everything you've got going on personally, and then you'll be more prepared for a group meeting later in the week.

Plan something for Monday night

We all look forward to the weekend because we generally have more plans Friday thru Sunday. Well that's an easy one to change, make plans on Monday night too! Even if it's just a catch-up phone call with a far away friend, it will definitely perk you up through the day.

Listen to More Music on Mondays

Yup, and I'm not saying this just because we want you to listen to us all day, it's actually a proven thing. More music equals more happiness, and we could all use that on Monday.
