There's a reason I don't travel to Chicago very often- it's expensive. Between the cost of traveling there, a hotel room, meals and entertainment, I've already spent about one month's salary; and that's when I'm being frugal.

Bars in Wrigleyville are charging ridiculous amounts just to get in and in some cases offering VIP services for an additional cost. Midday Michelle noted that the Cubby Bear is charging $100 just to get in the door.

Save yourself the money and possibly an organ and make plans to hit up some bars that aren't charging a cover charge during the World Series. According to TimeOut Chicago there's 7:
