7-Eleven Stores Want You To Come Fill Your Bucket with Slurpees

For the second time in less than a year, the 7-Eleven store chain is basically giving away Slurpees for two days only.

On August 19 and 20 from 11 a.m. -7 p.m. bring a bucket (or any cup that fits) to any 7-Eleven and fill it with Slurpee for just $1.50. The closest 7-Eleven stores to Rockford are in Belvedere, 707 Logan Ave. and 2500 Pearl St..

Now before you get any ridiculous ideas, you can't bring a garbage can, fish tank or kiddie pool to fill with Slurpee.

Container guidelines are:

Your "cup" can be any container that fits upright through an in-store display with a 10-inch diameter hole but must be leak-proof-safe, and sanitary.

And only ONE container per customer. Remember to drink responsibly, with that many ounces of extremely cold slurp, the brain freeze could kill you.
