815 Jeeps Have a Christmas Parade For a Good Cause This Weekend

If you don't have plans this Saturday, you do now! Screw City Jeeps 815 is combining the goodness of Christmas and giving back this weekend. The Jeep Freeze 2020 event wants to spread some holiday cheer, while giving back to the Stateline.

You know how the Polar Plunge works? Cold water, people running into it freezing their butts off, but they raise a ton of money for a good cause. That's basically what this event is but instead of humans, it's jeeps. The jeeps are even getting naked!

AKA Jeeps will be taking of the tops, doors, and backs off to do basically a “naked” run in the dead of winter. But that's not the only thing the jeeps are doing, they'll also be decked out for the holidays. A donation isn't required to attend the event, but it's encouraged to donate to their charity of choice Gigi's Playhouse in Rockford.

Here's some details for the event -

• Saturday, December 19
• Happening the old Magna parking lot next to Don Carter Lanes
• Free but donations are encouraged
• Beginning around 1:45 PM
• 90+ Jeeps decked out in the best Christmas attire

So it'll start at the old Magna parking lot, and then here's the route of the rest of the parade -

The parade will last around an hour and you should definitely add it to your Saturday holiday plans. It's the season of giving, so even if you can't attend the event, you can still donate to Gigi's Playhouse in Rockford. You can donate HERE.
