It's not something I would do, but I think all women have either said to themselves or a best friend, "Oh my gosh, if I'm not married by the time I'm 40, promise me we'll marry each other."

It's pretty standard to have a backup plan, but usually that involves another person like in the clip above.

Yasmine Eleby vowed that if she didn't meet someone she wanted to marry by her 40th birthday, she would marry herself. She kept her promise and celebrated with a lavish; spiritual ceremony with ten bridesmaids and her closest family and friends.

She's even going on a solo honeymoon to Cambodia, Laos and Dubai. Congrats, girl. Can we come?
