While you're at work today, thinking about what you're going to make for dinner tonight, I need you to take a mental inventory of what you already have in your freezer.

Chances are, "what's in my freezer" has already crossed your mind because you don't feel like stopping at the grocery store on the way home; but if you can recall, do you have any frozen veggies from Aldi in there?

Specifically, frozen peas. According to Fox 32 Chicago, the discount grocery chain is recalling 16 ounce bags Season's Choice Frozen Sweet Peas by Lakeside foods.

Here's what to look for:

  • UPC Code 041498164294
  • 'Best by Date' of 8/2018
  • These affected packing codes, get the full list here.

Aldi says the peas could be contaminated with Listeria and all affected packages have been removed from stores in Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia and Florida.

If you have these peas in your freezer, please dispose of them immediately or return them to the store for a refund.
