An Illinois City Is Listed As the Worst Place To Raise Kids

If you're looking to raise your kids in a great environment then you need to avoid this Illinois city.

It was recently listed as one of the worst places to raise your children.

AND.... surprisingly it isn't Rockford!

Hallelujah!

WGN reported a story through the a study by 24/7 Wall Street, that out of all the cities in our country one in Illinois landed at number 10 on the list as being the worst to raise families.

The study was based on "data on quality of schools, recreational opportunities, crime and graduation rates." 

Apparently, the place you don't want to be living in with kids is Danville, Illinois at number 10.

The other cities rounding out the top 10 are as follows.

1. Fairbanks, Alaska
2. Farmington, New Mexico
3. Anchorage, Alaska
4. Hammond, Lousiana
5. Odessa, Texas
6. Monroe, Lousiana
7. Albuquerque, New Mexico
8. Goldsboro, North Carolina
9. Beckley, West Virginia

Well at least we know where we don't want to move to if we have kids.

Good news is Rockford is out of the spotlight for being a bad place too. That's the best news.
