The word is they claim they have the "best ice cream in the middle of nowhere," where the Kelley family operates a 200-acre dairy farm where they make ice cream that will blow your mind, including bourbon apple crisp, cake batter, chocolate-covered potato chip, fluffer nutter, and jalapeno.
Kelley Country Creamery is at W5215 County Road B and might be literally in the middle of nowhere.
Just an hour south in Milwaukee is the other ice cream joint in the 24/7 Tempo article, and this place is Purple Door Ice Cream.

A husband and wife team, Lauren and Steve Schultz, own and operate this purple slice of heaven that offers flavors of ice cream like cinnamon roll, brandy old fashioned, malort, graham cracker, and malted chocolate chocolate chunk.
