Box of Blood Discovered on a Madison Road

It's not every day you run across a box filled with blood in the middle of the road. 

But that's what happened to one person in Madison, Wisconsin.

NBC Chicago is reporting that a 68-year-old man discovered a box of blood in the middle of a road in Madison last Sunday.

Yep, human blood.

Don't get too scared, it was a box that was supposed to be delivered to the Red Cross, and for some reason got separated from five other boxes of human blood that was successfully delivered.

NBC reports that the box was labeled "human blood" and so the man picked the box up and contacted the police. When it was returned to the Red Cross it was not damaged and still usable.
