There are so many ways to know summer has finally arrived in Illinois. And the top way to know might shock you, because it's not when the temperature reaches 90 degrees.

When the sun is beating down in Rockford, it's 85+ degrees, and not a breeze in sight, you know it's going to be a scalding hot day around here.  This is the perfect time to tan, too.  It saves me a whole lotta money tanning in my parents' backyard than going to a real beach and paying an admission fee.
