Chicago White Sox to Play on the Field of Dreams This August

If you build it, they will come. Well, they're building it.

There already is a baseball diamond currently on the Field of Dreams movie site in Dyersville, IA but Major League Baseball is building a temporary, larger ballpark that will seat 8,000 people.

The will be on August 13, 2020, between the Chicago White Sox and the New York Yankees.

The temporary ballpark is to being partly modeled after the Old Comiskey Park and will feature a see-through wall that will show the cornfield that is right up against the outfield.

A four-day celebration is also being planned by the town of Dyersville.
