It's something that's not always easy to do. When I was 30, I finally decided to take a leap of faith and give up everything to pursue a career in radio. I gave up friends, family and spent days; sometimes weeks questioning if I made the right choice.

After all the sacrifice, the tears, the ups and the downs, I finally landed where I wanted to be; where I was meant to be. It's not exactly like booking a world tour with Taylor Swift, but back in January I was able to make a similar phone call to my family; sharing the news that I was offered a job with Steve Shannon. He's my Taylor Swift.

I can't even begin to imagine how how tough it is to "make it" as a back-up dancer.
