You might be surprised that you aren't.

I get pretty irritated when people don't pronounce things the same way I do. For example, my mom and I say the word "bra" like we are from two different sides of the country, and we also disagree on how to pronounce "avocado."

It totally drives me bananas because she and I have lived together for most of my life so I don't understand how our vocabulary can be so different. I pretend to get over it each time it comes up, and attempt to avoid discussing underwear and guacamole with her.

While she and I might never be able to come to a consensus on who is right, BuzzFeed has put together a video about other words we use all the time and how to really say them correctly.
