A day to celebrate all moms in a very special way. A day to make sure no mother goes without basic needs in caring for her child.

On Saturday, June 2, the Motherhood Encouragement Project is hosting their first ever Community Shower. Over 20% of children born in the Stateline area are born into poverty stricken homes. What the Project is hoping to do is make the transition to becoming a new mother a little less stressful and more enjoyable by eliminating some concerns that a mom may not be able to provide for her baby.
