Don’t Forget a Tape Measure When You Visit a Rockford Subway
The 11-inch footlong Subway sandwich controversy broke in 2013. Subway restaurants have reached an agreement and a Wisconsin judge has approved.
The New York Post uncovered the Subway 'shortage' a couple of years ago. Terms of a new agreement were just published by the Post:
Under terms of a deal approved by Wisconsin federal Judge Lynn Adelman, Subway agreed to “instituting or maintaining a requirement that franchisees use a tool for measuring bread.”
According to the agreement, all Subway restaurants must be in compliance by the end of May 2016. Since it's unlikely that all Rockford-area Subways will have gone out to purchase an official ruler this week, it wouldn't hurt to bring your own.
