This Sunday is the annual "no pants" subway ride in Chicago.

I try to take public transportation whenever possible in Chicago. It's always an interesting experience. I never know what I might witness.

If you're planning a trip to the city this Sunday, you may want to adjust your travel plans. You could join in or completely avoid it.

According to timeout.com,

"For one day each year, CTA riders strip down to their underwear and board the train during Chicago's No Pants Subway Ride."

What is this all about?

"The No Pants Subway Ride is an annual event founded by Improv Everywhere in New York City in 2002. Each January, a group of riders remove their pants and board a train. Pantless riders are instructed to act normal and enjoy looks of surprise and confusion that they receive from fellow riders. In Chicago, the event usually takes place on the CTA's Red Line, beginning at the Loyola Station and ending in the Loop."

If you're interested in participating, they start from a secret location at noon. The ride begins at 12:30pm. To find out the meeting spot, check out HERE.

I'm sure regular riders won't even be affected because they are used to strange things happening during their commutes.

Hopefully, it's not too cold.
