Ever Notice There Aren’t Any Female Minions? Here’s Why [VIDEO]

Just in case you didn't notice, all minions are boys; but why? The creator, Pierre Coffin, has the answer.

Personally I've never noticed; I feel like I should be ashamed of that. I can't scroll through my Facebook news feed without seeing at least 20 memes with their adorable faces saying, "I need to go on medication, so I can slap stupid people and blame it on the side effects." They're so funny. But they're also not very bright, which is one of the reasons there aren't any female minions.

Someone thought to ask Coffin why there weren't any and his response in perfect.  He told The Wrap, "Seeing how dumb and stupid they often are, I just couldn’t imagine Minions being girls." Tee hee.
