If we can thank COVID-19 for anything, I think it would be for reinventing of creativity. Being forced to spend more time at home has had us all remodeling or finding new hobbies to pass the time.

I also believe that COVID-19 led to the popularity of the 'Take-and-make' craft obsession. Several small businesses in the Rockford area have offered fun board-painting kits and other craft activities for families to do at home during this pandemic, and now the Rockford City Market is getting in on the action...

If you've never done a board-painting class, or taken advantage of a take-and-make offer before, this is a fun thing for the whole family to do!

I make crafts like this often at home, but I do it all from scratch, and preparing the board and the stencil can be tedious. Coming to an event like this board-painting class  means all the tedious work is done beforehand. All you need to do is show up to do the fun part...painting your chosen design to life!

The cost for each kit is $40, and pre-registration is required so they know what design you would like to paint, and so they know how many people will be there so proper COVID-19 precautions can be put into place.

Register for the board-painting class now, here, and I can't wait to see what you create!
