Family Video in Rockford to be Replaced with Dollar General

Everything has been confirmed — a discount store is replacing Rockford's Family Video.

Yup... and this is happening for many Family Videos around the country.

In an interview with WTVO, a Family Video manager confirmed Dollar General will be moving into its Charles Street location. Employees of the store will be moved to other Family Video locations and, as of now, Loves Park, Byron, and Belvidere locations remain open.
