Ford Recalling 700,000 Vehicles Over Dangerous Backup Camera Issue

The backup camera is one of my all-time favorite car features. If you own a Ford with one, this recall covers its replacement before it suddenly stops working.

According to the just-announced recall from the Ford Motor Company in North America, the backup cameras could show distorted images or suddenly go dark.

The recall covers the 2020 Explorer, Mustang, Transit, Expedition, Escape, Ranger and Edge. Also included are the Lincoln Nautilus and Corsair. The recall also includes the number one selling vehicle in the U.S., the 2020 Ford F-Series Trucks.

Faulty electrical connections are to blame for the cameras issues. The recall is expected to begin on November 7. You can just take your car to the dealer for a replacmemtn at no cost.
