Free Movies At The Nordlof Center Will Have You Rethinking Why You Pay For Movies Ever
A couple of cool movies are just what we need for a hot summer day.
The Nordlof Center at 118 N. Main St. in downtown Rockford is showing a double feature on Sunday, July 9.
According to rockfordpubliclibrary.org, "This event is free to the general public. Venue is general seating. Doors open at 3:30pm." The LEGO Batman Movie will kick off the festivities followed shortly after by Power Rangers.
According to IMBD, "A cooler-than-ever Bruce Wayne must deal with the usual suspects as they plan to rule Gotham City, while discovering that he has accidentally adopted a teenage orphan who wishes to become his sidekick."
Power Rangers, is described by IMDB as "A group of high-school students, who are infused with unique superpowers, harness their abilities in order to save the world."
The double feature is part of the Nordlof Center's Movies on Main series.
Both movies combined to earned $260M nationwide, with The LEGO Batman Movie scoring overly positive reviews calling the movie "dizzyingly funny -- and beautifully animated" per Rotten Tomatoes.
