Port Charles fans of the past, you might want to tune in today.

General Hospital is going to be live this afternoon. Yep, live. That means, any... thing... can... happen...

I started my affair with GH a few summers ago when I was working two jobs with a few hours to eat lunch in the middle and my mom was recovering from wrist surgery. We ate and watched as Sam tried to figure out who the father of her baby was, and the entire town almost died of water contamination.

I know, you're thinking, whoa Michelle, obviously you were hooked from day one. Yeah, kind of.

Since then, four people have come back to life, three babies have aged to five years even though they weren't born in 2012, and two characters have been replaced by new actresses and confused everyone who took a few weeks off of GH-ing.

The annual Nurses' Ball was last week which makes a lot of former watchers tune in, and it gave the producers a chance to advertise something else exciting happening today, a completely live episode, actually two episodes. One today, and one on Monday, May 18.

According to teasers online, there will be a shooting today, which is weird for live TV.

Even if you haven't visited Port Charles in a while, today might be the day you want to come back.
