Get Up Close and Personal With Penguins at Brookfield Zoo
My two daughters absolutely LOVE going to the zoo, so my family is frequent fliers at many of the zoos the Midwest area has to offer.
Summerfield Zoo in Belvidere, Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison, Milwaukee County Zoo, Brookfield Zoo, doesn't matter, we love them all. I used to think I was pretty up on my zoo experiences knowledge until I heard there is a Penguin Encounter at Brookfield Zoo that I never knew existed.
Several of my Facebook friends were sharing an onlyinyourstate.com article yesterday about Penguin Encounters at Brookfield Zoo, and I automatically knew I needed to add this to my family's summer fun to-do list.
Brookfield Zoo's Penguin Encounter is Monday through Friday at 2 p.m. and on weekends at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.and lasts about 45 minutes.
Penguin Encounter participants can expect:
- Fun facts about Brookfied Zoo's Humboldt penguins
- Meet-and-greet and personal interaction time with the penguins
- Plenty of picture opportunities and memories to cherish
