Got Horses? Treat Them to A Corn Maze Ride At Northern Illinois’ Favorite Pumpkin Patch
The day after Halloween can be a real letdown for many people in the Stateline area. Not only are we suffering from a candy hangover, but November 1st also marks the end of haunted houses and farm fun at The Pumpkin Patch in Caledonia...or does it?
Bring Your Horses to The Pumpkin Patch This Weekend
I don't know if I've been living under a rock the last few years, or if this is something new they are trying at The Pumpkin Patch this year, but either way, here's another reason why I'm super jealous that I don't own my own horse.
Of all the times that I have been to The Pumpkin Patch in Caledonia, I have never gone through their corn maze before. Why? I have no idea. Maybe I am too preoccupied with the donuts, gift shop, and animals? Maybe it's because my kids always make a beeline for the jump houses and activities? I may not have an answer for missing out on the corn maze fun, but I'm pretty confident your horses will likely find their way out of the maze before I would. LOL!
Corn Maze Fun Still Available in Illinois
This coming weekend may be the final hoorah of the 2021 season at The Pumpkin Patch, but several of Illinois' other corn mazes will still be open for a couple more weeks...even if you don't own a horse. In fact, Illinois' largest corn maze at Richardson Farm in Spring Grove, Illinois will still be open for family fun this weekend, and they too will officially end their season with an invitation to horse owners on Saturday, November 13, 2021.
