Horror Ensues After Cable Snaps During Amusement Park Ride [VIDEO]

A young couple took a ride together that they will never forget.

While riding the "Fifth Element", a slingshot style ride at an amusement park in France, one of the bungee cables holding the ball and passengers in place snapped sending the two passengers into a support beam.

Thankfully the young couple is OK. According to UPI, "A female passenger was treated for a broken leg, while the second passenger, identified as the woman's boyfriend, suffered only bruises."

There was a similar incident that occurred last month at Mt. Olympus in Wisconsin Dells. Thankfully there were no injuries.
