IHOP Realized They Made a Huge Mistake and This is How They’re Apoligizing
Some apologies are better than others, those are the ones that include pancakes discounts.
IHOP did a dumb thing.
Sorry, but it's true.
After your entire life knowing the breakfast tycoon as IHOP, they went and pulled a publicity stunt and changed their name to ihob for like two minutes.
Ok, fine, I think it was a few weeks, but it seems like our anticipation of the change was almost longer than the actual name change.
They've now realized that people don't really want to hear about their burgers and they've reverted to the International House of fluffier than anyone else's Pancake.
All should be right with the world now.
It will be right because they're 'apologizing' for the giant burger whoops by offering 60 cent pancakes, as they celebrate their 60th anniversary.
The anniversary and pancake sale will be on July 17 from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
I suppose we can forgive your IHOP, but let's not make any other ridiculous decisions.
