If you're one of the over 100,000 Illinois teachers who will be teaching from home, this simple innovation is a must-have.

Bob Pintas is a teacher from Buffalo Grove, who like so many others in March, scrambled to try and keep teaching through the end of the school year. Trying to make a classroom out of some space in your home can be a challenge. Plus came the challenge of students not only being able to see their teacher, but what they would normally be writing on a smart board or chalkboard.

It was from that frustration that Pintas found the inspiration to spend some time in his garage designing some sort of stand that would allow teachers to be seen by their students, while simultaneously seeing important words being written.

WGN TV went into Bob's garage for a closer look at this simple and cheap fix.

Here's another video of Bob describing his $30 cell phone stand.
