A week and a half ago, parents and mental health professionals from across the country were warning us of the dangers of Sarahah, the app that allows you people to send anonymous messages to one another.

And as quickly as that app seems to be forgotten (I haven't gotten any messages, personally, in over a week), comes another warning from parents about another popular app that you might not have heard of before.

According to WGN, a dad from Batavia, Illinois, issued a warning on his Facebook page about his 7-year-old daughter getting disturbing messages on the app Musical.ly, a video sharing app that lets you create, share and discover short videos.

It reads:

No parent could ever imagine that an adult would pose as a child to gain access to inappropriate photos; it's sad to think that this is the world we live in now.

If you have any apps on your phone that you let your children use, please be sure to monitor their interaction at all times.
