Here's a reminder to obey all laws on Illinois roads even if you think it's not important. Just ask this person out for a Sunday drive.

First, let's review a law regarding being approached by emergency vehicles with lightings flashing and sirens blaring.

When being approached by an emergency vehicle using lights and sirens, Illinois law requires motorists to immediately pull to the right side of the road and allow the emergency vehicle to pass. In some cases a complete stop may be necessary to allow the emergency vehicle to pass. If stopped at an intersection with two-way traffic, remain stopped until the emergency vehicle passes.

This is one law an Illinois driver won't soon forget, hopefully. A driver of a minivan was cited two tickets this weekend and it makes them look incredibly negligent.

This is not the same as Scott's Law but it is equally important because IT'S THE LAW!
