Illinois is The Country’s Number 1 Cold-Weather Destination

Considering we've already seen snow this year, I feel Illinois is VERY worthy of this title. WalletHub just released a survey of "2019's Best Winter Holiday Destinations".

I figured Illinois would be high on the list, but guess what, we're number one!

Looks like one of the reasons we were voted number one was because of all of our winter activity options.

WalletHub details how they determined the ranking -

Compared with other rankings that focus on each destination’s scenic quality, this report focuses primarily on the cost and convenience of traveling to each location as well as its affordability. It also ensures that the number of attractions and variety of activities in each destination will keep everyone busy and entertained throughout the trip.
