Christmas Lovers Will Enjoy This Pop Up Bar In Illinois

I am one of the few people in the world that is not full of the Christmas spirit, but I do have my reasons. I am now an adult so that means I am a part of the gift buying and giving crew more than the gift receiving group, which isn't that bad. The part that puts Christmas in the doghouse for me is that people overshadow Thanksgiving, my favorite holiday by jumping into the Christmas spirit too early.

I will say, it's awesome to see how people incorporate the snow into their Christmas decorations, but I am not going to be getting out there in the cold weather anytime soon. I'm not saying I'm a Grinch, but I would just like for Christmas to wait it's turn like every other holiday has to do. With that being said, there's no way to slow down the Christmas spirit when there are pop up attractions invading our space.

Santa Baby Bar is Chicago's most immersive and over the top holiday experience is returning to the Windy City in 2024. The pop-up attraction is a favorite amongst those who live in the area and enjoy the Christmas spirit. Santa Baby Bar will be back in action in Illinois come November 2024.

The pop-up bar has decorating Christmas trees and stockings throughout the space along with Christmas lights, ornaments, and other Christmas decor bringing the spirit to life. There will be a large selection of Christmas inspired soft and adult beverages and cuisine available for visitors to enjoy.

Reservations for the pop-up bar will be opening up today, October 11th, 2024, and here are the reservation guidelines from the Santa Baby Bar website:

• Reservations can host up to a maximum of 6 individuals, based on availability. Please note that having multiple reservations does not guarantee seating next to each other or in the same room. If you have a larger group of 7 or more, explore our Parties & Groups tab above for available accommodation options.
• To accommodate all guests wanting to join us, all tables are limited to 1 hour and 30 minutes. After your reservation, head to the 2nd floor or rooftop to explore more holiday magic, snap pics at our festive photo-ops, and grab some drinks to keep the good times flowing!
•  In December, all reservations and walk-ins will be subject to a cover charge. The cover charge is per person, starting at $5 for ages 12 and above. Dates subject to change.
• We are 21+ ONLY after 8PM every day. Before 8PM, anyone under 21 years old must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardian. Please note we are a bar atmosphere.
•  We have indoor and outdoor seating available on our first floor. Our outdoor seating is on our tented (and fully heated!) patio. With it being December, we still recommend bundling up and wearing layers for the most comfortable experience.
• Please note, if you’re not seeing any availability for the date you select, it means we're fully booked. However, you can set an alert through OpenTable by clicking the blue "Set Alert" button to be notified if any spots open up. Alternatively, you can see what reservations are available by clicking the "Find Future Availability" button.
• Walk-ins are always welcome on our second floor and rooftop—no table service, just extra Christmas cheer, photo ops, music, and bars. See you soon!
