I recently came across a real estate website called Movoto that ranked the most boring cities and towns in each state. Of course, they made a list for Wisconsin.

What makes a city boring?

Everyone has different ideas of fun. Some might like staying in and living in a quiet city and others prefer to live in a massive city with a bustling nightlife.

If you prefer the latter, you definitely don't want to visit or move to any of these places. However, if you like a quiet and calmer life, you should do exactly that.

However, in this instance, being dull or boring goes a bit beyond just that. This study looked at a bunch of factors that played into the list.

For example, creators of this list looked at nightlife per capita, like how many bars, nightclubs, live music venues and such are in the area. They also looked at outdoor recreation, like how many parks are in the area and the like.

Of course, they also factored in age and how many restaurants the area has, including how many of those are the classic small town fast food spots (that everyone loves, by the way!).
