Similar encounters happened in July and August where stolen vehicles were found with the suspects still in possession which led to arrests.

This stolen vehicle crackdown in Illinois was funded by a $10 million dollar grant which they say has given the state police the resources they need to reduce stolen vehicle theft and recover those already lost.
