Anyone who is able to break a Guinness World Record deserves to be commended, no matter how odd or weird it might be.

I can remember when I was in elementary school, I was always fascinated by the Guinness Book of World Records that would come out each year. My classmates and I would always read the stories about these amazing things that people have won a world record for. Not only that, but the thing that I remember most about those books was reading up on some of the strange and outlandish things people did just to win a world record. The majority of them still leave me thinking to this day, "Who thinks of this stuff?!"

That being said, I recently saw a post from Mental Floss, where there was a list of The Weirdest Guinness World Records from Each U.S. State. This isn't one of those things where I can say that "some" of these things are pretty out there, in fact, all of these records are strange. Indiana's weirdest Guinness World Record is no different.

Indiana's Weirdest Guinness World Record

According to Mental Floss, Indiana's weirdest Guinness World Record was set on May 13, 2022 in Indianapolis. A recycling firm, Technology Recyclers wanted to raise awareness for recycling electronics in a rather unorthodox way. They decided to attempt to win a Guinness World Record for the most laptops toppled in a domino fashion. That attempt was very successful. They toppled 2,910 laptops to secure a Guinness World Record.

I have to admit, seeing that was actually pretty cool. According to Guinness World Records:

Technology Recyclers’ 2,910 laptops toppled in a domino fashion surpassed the previous record of 752 achieved by Jens Demol and Out of Use NV (both Belgium) in Beringen, Belgium, on 7 November 2021.

You can check out the other states' weirdest world record in the video below.

30 Bizarre (and Real) Indiana High School Mascots

According to High School.com, there are 682 high schools in Indiana. 555 of those are public schools, while the remaining 127 are private. A majority of those schools have chosen typical mascots to represent them, like eagles, tigers, lions, jets, patriots, and so on and so forth. But, these 30 schools decided to go, well, a different direction.
