Cruise Night at Smokin' Coop BBQ Pit

Every Wednesday night, for more years than I can count, the sweet smell of smoked meats and the rumble of classic engines has filled the air at Smokin’ Coop BBQ Pit in Belvidere.

If you've never been to a Smokin' Coop Cruise Night before, here's what you need to know:

  • Cruise Night takes place every Wednesday night during the summer (weather permitting) from 4 to 7 p.m. at 2022 US Bus 20 in Belvidere.
  • The car show is open to everyone and a trophy is awarded each week for "Car of the Night".
  • Don't have time to stay and enjoy a meal? Carryout is available at Smokin' Coop too!

Classic cars are cool, but the part I love even more about Cruise Nights at Smokin' Coop, is that they come with a big ol’ side of giving back.

Smokin' Coop BBQ Pit Fundraiser for St. Jude

Each week during Cruise Night, Smokin’ Coop sells Klondike bars for a buck, root beer floats, and 50/50 raffle tickets, with all of the proceeds going straight to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. How amazing is that?

Each year Smokin' Coop has one goal in mind: do even more good than they did the year before, and with your help they achieve it!
