Six flags was officially presented with the keys to Magic Waters. The Rockford Park District & Magic Waters handed over the giant card board key to Six Flags leaders and the partnership was solidified.
If you've been to Magic Waters, then you know it's the epitome of Summer. If you've been to Six Flags, then you know it evokes the same feeling of Summertime fun. This was a match made in heaven waiting to happen. Six Flags has ownership of Magic Waters through a lease agreement after the Rockford Park District owned the facility the last 31 years.
Park leaders praised the Water Park saying they will be a perfect fit for the Six Flags parks across the country. They said the partnership was a no-brainer after seeing how great Magic Waters was.
Magic Waters will open on May 25 and membership and seasonal passes are currently on sale. The best part is that if you buy a season pass it's good at any Six Flags park in the country. So if you buy a pass you can go to Magic Waters and Six Flags all Summer.
Customers who don’t have a season pass will pay $10 for parking. General admission for Magic Waters will be $29.99 for park district residents and non-residents. Magic Waters is still looking to hire and add to their team so don't hesitate to reach out.
