Man Cuts Off His Own Ears To Look Like His Parrot [VIDEO]

Ted Richards loves his parrots so much that he had his face and eyeballs tattooed to look more them. And now he's had his ears removed to look even more bird-like.

This bird-brained 56-year-old resident of Bristol, England,spent 6 hours in surgery to have his ears removed.

"I think it looks really great. I love it. It's the best thing that has happened to me. I am so happy it's unreal, I can't stop looking in the mirror

 

Richards gave his severed ear tissue to a friend who "will appreciate them," and has set his sights on another procedure, finding a surgeon who can turn his nose into a beak.
